Michael Skinner’s rendition of Mustang Sally is something to behold. With his powerful gospel trained voice, he lends incredible power to this Wilson Pickett classic. The ending, which Michael arranged, is like no other and is an apt demonstration of this band’s power. All their songs have great endings.

Michael, a four-time recipient of the John Phillip Sousa Award for Outstanding Musicianship at Harry High School in Richmond, Ca., was awarded Best New Blues Artist of the year 2013 by the Bay Area Blues Society. He performed live for President Bill Clinton for his Inauguration. 2005 Bay Area Blues Society Drummer of the Year Award. He also toured Europe, Asia, Africa and throughout the US for the past 10 years with major artist that include: John Lee Hooker Jr., Jimmy McCracklin, Little Milton, Zakyia Hooker and so many more, and recorded on over 30 album projects.
