Welcome The Elvis Johnson Soul Revue as they kick off Pro Blues Jam in the first set.
Elvis Johnson formed his Soul Revue at the request of a bartender in 2012 with the goal of bringing classic soul music to that bar. The original members were Joe Lococo, guitar/vox, Willie Riser on bass, Derek Evans, lead singer, and Elvis on drums. it was an immediate success and soon there were many imitators appearing throughout the month. In the mean time the Soul Revue added a few singers and the group appeared in other clubs around the bay area. Early in 2016 the group added the luscious sax of Susan Copperman and started to include more jazz funk in their repertoire.
Local talent and special guests are invited to join in during the second set.
HOW TO SIGN UP
Sign up online through the ticket link between Noon and 5:30 pm on day of show.
Sign up in person: If slots are still open, you may sign up at the host stand on Wednesdays after 5:30 pm. Musicians are chosen on a first come, first served basis.
Maximum amount of artists per night varies at host band discretion.
The Fenix is an music supper club. Dinner is served daily at the venue. When you purchase your ticket on our website or the Ticketleap.com site, a reservation is automtically made for you.
When requesting seating for a party larger than your ticket purchase, please inform guest who would like to be seated with you to include in the comment section they would like to be seated with your party. We will try an accommodate your request.
There is a $15.00 per person minimum at the Fenix during the shows.
