The SF Jazz Quintet is a modern jazz ensemble that plays original renditions of the great jazz standards of the Jazz Era. The Quintet has within it some of the most dedicated jazz musicians in the Bay Area. Founded in 2018 by Music Director/Educator and Guitarist Derek Kudrow, the SF Jazz Quintet also includes Bassist Mark Culbertson (Music Director – Dominican University), Alto/Tenor Saxophonist and Pianist Jeff Derby (Music Director – Marin Middle School), Contemporary Jazz Charting Drummer/Educator Darryl Kniffen, (Darrylkniffen.com), and Producer/Educator/Trumpeter Nick Knoles (Owner – Marin Music Studios). The SF Jazz Quintet has within it over 100 years of musical dedication and will surely delight audiences and jazz aficionados alike.
The Fenix is an music supper club. Dinner is served daily at the venue. When you purchase your ticket on our website or the Ticketleap.com site, a reservation is automatically made for you.
