ABOUT ABOUT

A four part journey through the classics. In addition to bringing you your favorite Stones hits we will cover hits from Jimi Hendrix, The King and Classic Blues Artists. From visceral vocals by Rudy Colombini to ferocious guitar chops by electric guitarist Kevin Russell, joined by Kenny Crampton on electric bass guitar. The band executes some of the most influential blues and classic rock songs in history by the likes of Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, Robert Johnson, Elvis, The Rolling Stones and many more. A must see show!

The Unauthorized Rolling Stones is a must-see, theatrical rock show! The nine-piece ensemble’s pedigree can be traced to some of the biggest acts in the business. Their show holds in reverence many legends of the classic rock years, from Zeppelin to Motown to Dylan, while maintaining their Rolling Stones core. And Colombini’s staggering, Jaggeresque showmanship now engages in a battle of the sexes with a trio of seductive, bluesy backup vocalists.

Since their founding in 2001, Rudy Colombini & The Unauthorized Rolling Stones have brought the excitement, energy, and hits of a live Rolling Stones show to stages across the country. In 2014, founder and frontman Colombini expanded the band by adding all-star members from some of the biggest acts in music, including Kevin Russell (Jersey Boys), Matty Pinder, (son of The Moody Blues’ Mike Pinder), Ronnie Smith, (Tommy Castro Band), and Sandy Griffith, (Celine Dion, Boz Skaggs, Kenny Loggins). The result has been a quantum leap that has left other Stones tributes in the dust.

Rudy Colombini and The Unauthorized Rolling Stones perform at prestigious theaters and venues nationwide. They have opened for major acts like Elton John, Train, and about fifty other household names. While not portraying Mick, Colombini is the co-founder and visionary behind the San Francisco Music Hall of Fame, (San Francisco Music City Project), under construction at 1353 Bush Street.

David Patrick, Spectator Magazine, photographer for The Rolling Stone’s First Twenty Years said it best: “They sounded more like the Rolling Stones than the Rolling Stones do. In fact, The Unauthorized Rolling Stones sang many of Stones’ songs better than the Stones!”
