Jazzi Jan aka Janice Marie Beard has spent the last decade crafting her incredible gift . influenced by Jazz Divas such as Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington, and Ella Fitzgerald, Jazzi Jan escorts you back in time when music was gratifying. Jazzi Jan enjoys singing the American Song Book with a twisty, modern Jazz as well as Blues and Gospel. From Smooth and sultry tones to belting blues, Jazzi delivers a fun filled stage show with music spanning the Jazz spectrum. A native of Illinois, Jazzi Jan spent the majority of her young life traveling extensively throughout the US. Singing Gospel Music with her siblings as "The Beard Singers". In 1972, the artist relocated to the Southern California, where she recorded her first solo debut with a local gospel choir. Soon after, Jazzi , was whisked off to the San Francisco Bay Area to record back -up vocals for the R&B group, UNEAK, on their album entitled, Pink Heat, recorded on the HED Records label. Jan has to her credit, a tribute to the late great Jazz Divas, titled"Jan's Vintage Classics". After singing R&B in local venues for several years, Jan began to expand her vocal abilities to include Jazz. Known for her wide range of vocal skills, awesome expressive qualities, and colorful improvisations, Jazzi jan ranks among the top Jazz & Blues vocalist in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Charlene Moore, a dynamic gospel and R&B recording artist is a Bay Area legend. She is a powerhouse in her own right, performing and bringing quality music all over the world. Charlene’s credits include the David Lettermen Show, Oprah, Eddie Murphy, Martha Wash & Aaron Hall, Commercials for Alamo, Dodge, Mazda and Nissan.Charlene has performed with artists such as Martha Wash, Jocelyn Brown, Michael McDonald, Jeanie Tracy, Victor Cook, the late Izora Rhodes Armstead, and “Sylvester”.
